From 26 - 28 July 2011, a global high level meeting was held in Kigali, Rwanda, on "Increasing Accountability and Development Effectiveness through Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting".

A Call for Action was produced from this meeting, detailing achievements so far and reiterating the value of gender budgeting.
