• We kicked off the new year with an appearance on  BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour where WBG’s Sarah Ronan talked about women and self-employment.
• Sarah Marie Hall named us as one of the policy experts who referred to the Autumn Budget as ‘Austerity 2.0’ in her insightful piece on the long-term impacts of austerity on future generationsthat was published in The Big Issue.
• In a piece in The Stack reporting on soaring childcare costs, Sarah explained: “One of the most frustrating and scandalous things about this crisis is that extortionate childcare fees are preventing many mothers from increasing their hours of paid work in order to be able to meet rising costs,”
• As the World Economic Forum was taking place in Davos, our work exploring the gendered impacts of high inflation and eroding incomes was cited in a piece by WEF on how women bear the brunt of the cost-of-living crisis.
• Refinery29 published the piece “Does your job really need to spark joy?” on the purpose of work and young women’s perspectives on careers – referring to our findings that housing is now less affordable than ever for young women.
