At the beginning of month, the Chancellor Rachel Reeves presented her Spring Forecast. Our response was featured in the Big Issue and LabourHub, in which we argued that we are more vulnerable to the impact of global events and economic shocks precisely because we have not invested in our economy’s foundations, including our social infrastructure.
The Independent published a piece on flexible working, quoting our Deputy Director Dr Sara Reis who highlighted that too often flexibility is concentrated in lower-paid jobs with limited progression, with impacts on women’s economic situation both now and in the long-term.
