Beti Baraki
Beti is a Research Fellow at The Policy Institute, King’s College University. Beti works across a wide range of policy areas, and specialises in policy evaluation and analysis, qualitative and participatory research.
Previously she worked as a consultant at the New Economics Foundation. Her work relates to economic research and analysis focusing on areas such as local economic development, poverty and inequality, social security reform, debt, wellbeing economics, and women’s economic wellbeing, including policy development around tech abuse and VAWG.
Prior to the, Beti worked at Southall Black Sisters as a Women’s Advocate. She provided high quality comprehensive and practical advocacy support relating to gender-based violence against women and children.
Beti earned her MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy at LSE and her BA in Politics and International Studies at Warwick University.
