Päivi Vahvelainen

Päivi joined the UK Women’s Budget Group in July 2024 as Digital Communications Officer, bringing over 15 years of experience in campaigning and communications across the charity sector. She previously held roles at Veganuary, the Anti-Bullying Alliance, and World Animal Protection, where she led strategic digital campaigns and stakeholder engagement initiatives. Päivi holds a Master’s degree from SOAS University of London and a qualification in social media management. In her current role, she uses her expertise to amplify WBG’s work across digital platforms, creating engaging content that supports feminist economic advocacy.
