WBG’s outreach project is a project for volunteers to train as WBG speakers and deliver a presentation on ‘Women and the Economy’ to women’s organisations around the country.

Since the beginning of 2025, WBG has been coordinating a group of 100+ volunteers as part of this project; we are now in the second phase and welcoming applications from women’s organisations. If your organisation would be interested in hosting a presentation (at no cost), please email chevon.cumberbatch@wbg.org.uk or Samah.Krichah@wbg.org.uk.

The presentation will include explanation of:

  • Who WBG is and an overview of our work
  • The gender wealth gap
  • Unpaid care at the heart of women’s economic inequality
  • Policies to advance a gender equal economy

Volunteer applications for this project have now closed, but if you would like to be involved in our work in another capacity, please visit the Local Data Project website.

This project is funded by Thirty Percy, a philanthropic organisation that believes philanthropy has the potential to be radically rewired to work more meaningfully for both changemakers and wealth-holders.

We are also grateful to the Women’s Equality Party, which provided legacy funding to support this project.
